Firmount House has had the pleasure of hosting film shoots, music videos and photoshoots over the past few years. The house itself has two fully renovated floors with seven bedrooms, a ballroom, dining room and library alongside a generous hallway, butlers pantry and commercial kitchen. Both floors are full of unusual period features, original fireplaces, vast corniced ceilings and lots of natural light and could be used to showcase either a residential or commercial setting.
This Kildare location also has an unrenovated basement with period features as well as bunker-ised rooms used by the Irish government during the Cold War. In addition the top floor, formerly the servants quarters is a blank canvas with period windows and a vast attic space with original beamed roof struts.
There is also potential to film in a completely modernised house adjacent to Firmount.

FIrmount House is has a wealth of large interior and exterior locations while also affording plenty of room for storage of equipment and rooms for actors to get changed in privacy. As a privately opened house open only by appointment and located so near to Dublin, you will not easily find a better location which will cater to so many needs at once. For example the house has been used as a bar, cafe, restaurant, period house, modern house, haunted cellars and much more. Come and visit us and see what we have to offer.

Firmount House offers seven large and luxurious double and twin bedrooms with six bathrooms on the first floor. We can also recommend several airbnbs very nearby or local hotels in nearby Clane (3km) or Naas (10km).
